FAQ - Fleet Discontinuing the Marketplace

If you are an importer or exporter on the Marketplace:

 

I currently have shipments booked on the marketplace that are in transit.

What happens with them now?

You will maintain full access to shipments in transit that you booked on the Marketplace. Through your Fleet account, you can still manage the shipments and chat with your freight forwarders.

To manage shipments you booked on the Marketplace:

  • Log into your Fleet account
  • Click Marketplace on the top menu bar. You will see your current shipments.
  • Call Fleet to get any support you need for your shipments until they are delivered.

What replaces the Marketplace on Fleet?

Fleet recently launched a Digital Freight Forwarding Platform, which will significantly improve your business’ productivity and efficiency in international shipping. It also delivers a more user-friendly experience for importers and exporters, with central features such as instant quotes and real-time tracking. Will you still provide support for the Marketplace?

Fleet will continue to provide support for shipments that were booked on the Marketplace and currently in transit until they are delivered.

I am currently moving shipments that were booked on the Marketplace.

What happens with them now?

If you are moving the shipments for your customers on the marketplace, you can continue the process until you deliver the shipments. You maintain access to manage the shipment documents, update the shipment status and chat with your customers on Fleet.


To manage shipments you booked on the Marketplace:

  • Log into your Fleet account
  • Click Marketplace on the top menu bar. You will see the shipments that have been booked with your service.
  • Call Fleet to get any support you need for your shipments until they are delivered.

Will Fleet still provide support for the Marketplace?

We will continue providing support for shipments that were booked on the Marketplace and are currently in transit, until they are delivered.


What replaces the Marketplace and what can I do on Fleet now?

Fleet recently launched a Digital Freight Forwarding Platform, which allows freight forwarders to instantly check freight rates from ocean and airline carriers. With just a few clicks, Fleet presents a variety of rate options from our ocean and air carrier partners. If you like the rates you find on Fleet, you can also book your shipments on the Digital Freight Forwarding Platform. These features are accessible for selected freight forwarders only.
